This Team supports many of our outreach/mission projects such as Salkehatchie, Volunteers in Mission, Missions in Panama, Brazil, Laos, Africa, Greenwood United Ministries, Bowers-Rogers, Habitat, Special Missions, Faith Home, Medical Missions, Campus Crusade, Food Bank, Hospice House, Soup Kitchen, Child Evangelism Fellowship, Epworth, Pathway House just to name a few.
CONFERENCE MISSIONAL GIVING AND SUPPORT
As a United Methodist Church, St. Mark is committed to supporting The South Carolina Conference and the United Methodist Church Ministries around the World. Our Church Leadership, missionaries and ministries around the world, campus ministries, new congregation starts and multiple other outreaches are supported through our conference giving.
THE STRATEGIC PLANNING TEAM
This Team seeks to work with the "WINGS" Teams which include, Worship, Instruct, Nurture, Grow and Sending Forth, and Chairpersons from all groups at St. Mark to plan for the overall program of ministry at St. Mark.

St. Mark provides three wonderful worship opportunities each week. The Worship Team of volunteers are responsible for helping plan, monitor and carry out the weekly services.

The Instruct Tam deals with our emphasis on teaching ministry at St. Mark. From here we support many of our Sunday School classes, various Bible Studies, Vacation Bible School, Methodist Youth and children's ministry.

This Team of volunteers supports varied ministries at St. Mark including bereavement ministry, Young at Heart, Upper Room, sports teams at St. Mark, quilting and Sisters of Shut-Ins.

This Team supports the desire of St. Mark to reach out to visitors, advertisements, attendance registration, brochures, nursing supplies and the Upper Room/Outreach.
THE PASTOR STAFF/PARISH RELATIONS TEAM

This Team continues to monitor and fill the various staffing needs at St. Mark. The staff seeks to establish an atmosphere that is welcoming and inviting. The staff creates, plans, and helps carry out the various activities, ministries and programs of the church. The staff also serves in a supporting role to all the volunteers and various activities around St. Mark.

The Trustees do a wonderful job in meeting the physical needs of the church; handling our monthly bills related to our mortgage, insurance, monthly utility bills, clergy housing, grounds and maintaining the overall care and repair of all of St. Mark properties. The Trustees have been very active throughout the year with many improvements made to our facility.
